Vehicle Day at Coyote Valley Elementary

Two workers in safety vests talk to children in front of a utility truck with a large hose.

Hidden Valley Lake CSD Staff were invited to Vehicle Day at Coyote Valley Elementary today.

Our Operator II's Nathan Reese and Dominic Hernandez were on campus with our Vac Truck explaining all about the "Real Monster truck" and answering so many great questions:

  • "Can the spray hose cut through human intestines?"
  • "Can the vac hose suck up a human?"

You may have seen this "monster truck" out and about in the community. Vac trucks, also known as vacuum trucks or hydrovac trucks, are primarily used for cleaning and removing liquids, sludge, and debris from various locations, including sewer systems, and industrial sites, and for hydro-excavation.

Ask your student to tell you all about this vehicle and what it does for our community.

Thank you Mrs. Pyzer for the invitation to participate.
